Happy Daze is the closest rental to the patrolled beach and lifesaving club. We also offer Air con, Netflix and Wifi. My place is good for couples and families (with kids).

  Welcome to Happy Daze.
  Perfectly located, no need to hike over sand dunes to the beach, it is a 400 metre stroll to the No.1 beach, the only patrolled surf beach in Venus Bay and only 200 metres from the local shops and cafe. Set on one of the most beautiful and serene coastlines in Victoria. A beautiful holiday escape no matter the weather or time of year.

Venus Bay is a hidden gem, with beautiful beaches suitable for surfing, boogie boarding and swimming. No 1 beach is patrolled by surf life savers in the warmer months, all only a few minutes walk away.

Happy Daze offers wi-fi, split system heating and cooling and open plan living with a cozy feel. After a day exploring, relax in the comfortable couches. There is a good selection of DVDs and games for children and adults. For your music needs there is a blu-tooth mini hi-fi system. All windows have fly screens. It sleeps four adults and four children: two bedrooms have queen beds and a kid's room has two sets of bunk beds. The children can also enjoy their own TV with movies, X-Box and four bean bags.

The kitchen has a new oven, plenty of cooking equipment, glasses and cutlery. The bathroom has a shower with a base that can be used for a shallow bath for toddlers and the laundry has a front loader washing machine to cater for an extended stay.
In the cooler months, enjoy snuggling up on the couch in front of the fire with a good book, enjoy a movie or rug up for a walk on the beach and watch the waves roll in.
When the hot weather arrives, Venus Bay is the ideal place to enjoy an Aussie summer at the beach with waves ideal for surfing, boogie boarding and swimming. Then when you get back to the house sit out on the back deck, relax, have a few drinks and cook up a feast on the BBQ provided or alternatively walk two minutes to the main street and try out one of the cafes or restaurants.
The Tarwin River (5 minutes drive) and Mahers landing (5 minutes drive to Doyles Road) are both great spots for river fishing and the beach has great surf fishing.
The area is surrounded by Cape Liptrap National Park which has some great bush walking tracks for the beginner through to the more advanced. Photographers will love catching the beauty of the area and the diverse scenery. All this just far enough away from the hustle and bustle of the city and some of the busier coastal towns.

Around 45 minutes away, Wilsons Promontory National Park promises unforgettable hikes, beaches, and wildlife.
